What started out as a small cult within the druid society has now turned into a powerful movement. Animancers, as they call themselves, have taken the ideas of the druids a bit further. Not only have they become quite adept at unarmed combat, but by focusing on becoming part of nature instead of using her, the animancers have become masters of shapeshifting. Animancers can change their form into almost any animal, but for unknown reasons they usually prefer exotic, or even extinct ones. In combat they often assume the shapes of very powerful animals, such as the extremely speedy velociraptor, or the awesome wooly mammoth. Animancers also look upon normal society with some contempt, and will therefore not use any equipment except weapons or wands (and those only in their natural humanoid shape).
Command: morph [shape]
Stamina: 35% (raptor), 30% (condor), 45% (lion), 50% (rhino), or 55% (mammoth) per minute
The animancer morphs into one of his favorite shapes, taking on the attributes of the chosen animal. While the animancer is morphed, he can't use normal equipment. If the animancer runs out of stamina while morphed, he reverts to normal form. If the morph command is used without any arguments, your current form is displayed.
The animancer can return to his normal shape at any time he wishes.
Flight of the condor
Stamina: 2.5% (an additional 2.5% per room)
One of the largest birds ever, the condor is truly the ruler of the skies. Its great wingspan enables it to glide along the winds with a minimum of effort, avoiding leaving any tracks on the ground.
Hunt of the lion
Command: follow [player]
Stamina: 10% per 2 seconds spent hunting
The powerful lion isn't just a mindless beast. As king of carnivores, it is a true expert at hunting, and can easily track down its chosen prey. Escaping from a hunting lion is indeed extremely hard (about 6.6% chance per move). Follow without arguments cancels the hunt. A lion cannot track while blinded or in darkness, and cannot track invisible players unless he has acquired the ability to see invis.
Rampage of the mammoth: the wooly mammoth is much like a walking fortress. Its sheer size makes it impossible for the mammoth to only fight one opponent. When a mammoth goes into battle, everyone is in risk of being trampled into the ground.
