From the elemental plane of earth comes the mighty golem. Made of stone and metal, the golem is indeed an awesome sight. The tough stone offers great protection for the golem, as good as any armor. Golems can draw strength from nearby groups of enemies through the earth, and therefore become stronger the more opponents they face. Making this quirk even more deadly, their usual weapon--a mattock made of living stone--adjusts itself during combat, becoming larger, depending on how strong the golem is. Additionally, golems can go into insane rages, attacking everything and everyone in sight.

Natural armor: the golem cannot use any standard humanoid armor, as golems are far too large and irregularly shaped. They do, however, have natural armor which provides the equivalent of 40% deflection. Deflecting damage with this natural armor does sap some energy from the golem.
The golem calls upon the element it originates from. This results in an earthquake that affects the entire area. Its effects are the same as those of the spell with the same name (see "help spell earthquake").
Command: enrage, calm
The "enrage" command causes the golem to enter a frenzy wherein the golem will attack anything in sight, friend or foe. The "calm" command will once again cause the golem to attack only a single enemy.
The living stone mattock
Command: shrink mattock, enlarge mattock
The golem's living stone mattock can be shrunk for one-handed usage, or enlarged for two-handed usage. During combat, the mattock will adjust its size (and weight) when delivering blows in order to utilize any extra strength the golem may have, but will remain one- or two-handed, as selected.
