The samurai is a warrior who is completely dedicated to his lord. His primary goal is to serve and protect his leader from harm, and failure to do so brings great shame to the honorable swordsman. While his master lives, the samurai has many potent offensive and defensive tools. He can guard and take blows for his leader in combat, he can call on his inner strength to temporarily increase his fighting abilities, and he can release a fierce war cry to stun his enemies for a couple rounds. A samurai also has the ability to locate his master at all times. However, if a samurai fails and his lord perishes, the samurai permanently loses all his samurai powers.
Dedication to his lord: the samurai loses all special samurai abilities and bonuses if the leader of his team dies.
The samurai can step in to redirect opponents' attacks on his lord onto himself.
A samurai can call on his inner strength to increase his combat skill (+7 dexterity) for one strike.
The samurai lets loose a fearsome war cry that stuns all enemies in the room for a couple rounds, preventing them from attacking. This can only be done in combat, and the samurai must wait a certain period of time before he can use this ability again.
Command: mount <player>, dismount
The samurai can mount a creature that can be ridden (such as a centaur or griffin). A rider suffers a -4 dexterity penalty while on a mount.
The samurai has a weak telepathic link with his leader which he can use to determine his lord's location.
