Within the depths of the earth, there are tremendous forces waiting to be unleashed. Skilled magicians, or creatures bound to the earth can disturb the resting core of the earth, releasing the natural disaster known as an earthquake. This is not an easy task. After casting the spell, the caster must remain in the room for a round, while the earth reluctantly agrees to comply with the powerful magic. The thusly formed earthquake will increase in intensity, and will affect other rooms besides its epicenter. At the peak of its strength, the earthquake can inflict up to 35 damage per round, after which it will gradually subside. Since the caster during all this time has complete control of the earth, no quake will damage him or any of his teammates. Upsetting the earth once more requires at least 2 minutes of rest.
