The spell can turn most any lifeless artifact alive, and the thusly animated object will fly around, following its master. It will also attack any enemies of its owner. The constitution of animated artifacts depends on their original value, but their combat prowess is only determined by their weight, since their only means of fighting is flying into opponents. Unfortunately, after about three minutes, animated objects will crumble to dust.
